Leaders need to focus on the people aspect of their role (leadership), and not only the task (management).  Too often we tend to lose sight of the important things (people leadership, communication and teamwork), and get sidetracked with the urgent tasks of getting the job done.

The balance is to get the task done while getting the people side right, both team and individual.
