Dare to Lead – Brene Brown

Hi everyone

We say this every year, but where did 2019 fly past?

One of my greatest books that I read/listened to this year, was Brene Brown’s Dare to Lead. She is the essence of everything she advocates – authentic, vulnerable, courageous and compassionate. I have always loved Brene’s incredible work – her books, research, TED talks, posts etc.

 

All her books have been awesome. Dare to Lead tops my favourite, with practical tips on daring leadership – creating safety, connections, courageous conversations, relationships, teams and cultures of trust and communication. What I loved even more, was Brene herself narrating the book on Audible.

 

It is about leading self and others with courage, compassion, whole heartedness, and to be brave, kind and vulnerable.

Her incredible generosity in sharing so many free resources for individuals, leaders and teams on her Dare to Lead hub.
